Congratulations Ladies!
Thank you to Sathya for suggesting the name Vaanavil for our club. Our club will now on be address as Vaanavil Ladies Club.
Planning to meet every month.
Everyone’s availability discussed and confirmed next meeting during school holidays.
Next meeting on 22nd September 2009 from 10.00am to 2.00pm @ Sarayu’s house. Sarayu to email reminder to everyone before 1 week of the meeting.
Address, Phone number and e-mail details of all members collected and Priya Shankar to send a list to everyone.
Elected President, Secretary and Treasurer. These ladies will continue for 6 months and new members will be elected for these positions after the period.
Main activities will be lot of Info-Share. Susi is happy to guide everyone to do some yoga exercises.
Manju suggested having a session on how to perform a particular festival in order and what slokas to be chanted etc.For Eg. Ganesh Chaturthi.— Rituals procedure, why we are performing the pooja, slokas to be chanted on that day etc.
Free talk?!!!(Any crap we can talk, no restrictions, don’t have to be nice and organised always….)
Discussed about organizing Deepavali Function. Planned to stage some performances by children/Adults. This will be a family get-together.
Discussed dance, music and comedy skit for children. All are welcome to share their talents and ideas.
Udaya to source music for lamp dance and all are welcome to pour ideas for comedy skit.
Collected $10.00 from all members as first month membership fee. Monthly fee from next meeting will be $5.00. Have attached spreadsheet for money collected.
